Features may change, pause, or stop at any time as we refine the experience.

Account and eligibility

You must be older than 16 years of age to create an account or use milkberi. By signing up, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If we learn that an account belongs to someone 16 or younger, we will remove it. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for the activity that occurs under your account.

Acceptable use

Please use milkberi lawfully and respectfully. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape data, or access other users' accounts. You may not use the app for illegal activities, harassment, NSFW content, or content that promotes, glorifies, or instructs eating-disorder-harmful behavior, self-harm, or suicide.

Your content

You own the content you post or upload (such as meal photos and posts). You grant us a limited license to host, store, and display that content to operate the service.

milkberi provides tools for tracking and planning. It does not provide medical advice. Always consult a qualified professional for health decisions.

Fasting tracking

milkberi includes a fasting tracker that lets you log and monitor fasting periods. This feature is provided for personal tracking and informational purposes only — it is not medical advice and is not a substitute for guidance from a qualified healthcare professional. Fasting may not be appropriate for everyone, including those with certain medical conditions, who are pregnant or nursing, or who are under 18. By using the fasting tracker, you acknowledge that you do so at your own discretion and risk. milkberi is not responsible for any health outcomes, adverse effects, or consequences arising from your use of this feature.

Third-party services

milkberi may rely on trusted service providers to provide core functionality.

Service availability

We do our best to keep the service available, but we do not promise uninterrupted access. The service may be unavailable, delayed, or limited due to maintenance, updates, outages, or circumstances beyond our control.

Data loss and security

We use reasonable safeguards, but we cannot guarantee that data will be secure or never lost. To the fullest extent permitted by law, milkberi is not responsible for loss of data or unauthorized access resulting from third-party systems, network failures, or events outside our control.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated or if we discontinue the service.

Account suspension and banning

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate our terms of service, community guidelines, or engage in abusive, harmful, or illegal behavior. Reasons for account suspension or banning may include, but are not limited to: harassment or bullying of other users, posting inappropriate or NSFW content, posting content that promotes, glorifies, or instructs eating-disorder-harmful behavior, self-harm, or suicide, attempting to circumvent security measures, creating multiple accounts to evade bans, or any other conduct we determine to be harmful to the community or service. Account suspensions may be temporary or permanent depending on the severity and frequency of violations. When an account is banned, you will lose access to all features and your data may be retained for moderation and security purposes. Banned users may not create new accounts without our explicit permission. We are not obligated to provide warnings before suspending or banning an account, though we may do so at our discretion. If you believe your account was banned in error, you may contact us at hello@milkberi.com to appeal, but we reserve the right to make final decisions regarding account status.

Account deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the Account Settings page. Account deletion is immediate and permanent. When you delete your account, all your personal data, meal logs, recipes, custom foods, social posts, friend connections, and any other content associated with your account will be permanently removed from our systems. Any active subscriptions will be cancelled immediately without refund. Once deleted, your account and data cannot be recovered. We may retain certain anonymized or aggregated data for legal, security, or operational purposes, but no personally identifiable information will be kept.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, milkberi is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Copyright and assets

milkberi-owned assets (including branding, logos, visuals, and site images) are copyrighted. You may not copy, redistribute, or reuse these assets without permission.

DMCA / Copyright takedowns

If you believe that content on milkberi infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) by emailing hello@milkberi.com with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Request." Your notice must include: (1) a description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed; (2) a description of where the infringing content appears on the service; (3) your contact information (name, address, phone number, and email); (4) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or law; (5) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf; and (6) your physical or electronic signature. We will respond to valid DMCA notices by removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing content. Repeat infringers may have their accounts terminated. If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to hello@milkberi.com with the required statutory information.
