low cal chocolate cookies
Shared by @skellybunniz · Makes 1 serving · Baked goods
Ingredients
- 4 1 serving XYLITOL
- 1 tbsp Cocoa, dry powder, unsweetened, HERSHEY'S European Style Cocoa
- 3 1 serving egg whites
Instructions
- Pre heat the oven to 200°C
- (Hotter or colder if you like - hotter is preferred because it bakes your cookies quicker)
- 1. Take the egg whites and mix them with an electric mixer untill they're fluffy and stand up when you swirl a spoon through them
- 2. Add your sweetener! (My pick was xylitol) Add 2-4 table spoons of it to the fluffy egg mix and mix untill you can't see the sweetener texture anymore
- 3. Add one table spoon of unsweetened cocoa powder and fold it into the mix (or use an electric mixer - cocoa doesn't like to be mixed with other things! You can also add chocolate chips or nuts if you feel like i:3)
- 4. Get a pan and put some oil or cooking spray onto it! Use a table spoon to scoop out small portions of the cookie batter onto the pan
- 5. Put into the oven for between 20 to 40 minutes (depends on how hot you made it in the beginning)
- You may need to scrape them off the pan if they got stuck, if that is the case, I would highly recommend using a spatula.
- After making the batch you can use this math technique to work out how much cals it is per cookie
- - amount of cals for whole recipe ÷ portion of cookies made from batter = amount of cals per cookie
