  • 1.5 wedge yields Lemon juice, raw
  • 0.5 1 serving Honey

Instructions

  1. ˙ . ꒷ 🍞🫐 . 𖦹˙— French toast topped with a mascarpone whipped cream and a warm berry compote!
  2. hi u guys! i had previously posted this meal on my page and its a super easy at home recipe, but an easily impressive one to others!
  3. for the recipe it features the ingredients as per one piece of sliced loaf bread, if you want more slices, increase the recipes measurements as needed. this recipe also features very low artificial sugar options for those trying to cut back/ cant have it. (i only drizzled a little honey in the berries and a 0 cal stevia packet for the cream.)
  4. ingredients !:
  5. 1 slice bread
  6. 1 egg
  7. cinnamon
  8. small addition of vanilla (optional)
  9. small addition of milk (optional)
  10. mascarpone 1-1/2 tbsp
  11. heavy whipping cream 2 tbsp
  12. stevia packet or equal to
  13. 1/2 frozen berries
  14. drizzle of honey
  15. splash lemon juice (as needed)
  16. splash water (as needed)
  17. preparation:
  18. 1. add mascarpone to bowl, whisk together until fluffy. add in heavy cream and whisk until well combined, (should be slight very loose peaks.) add in stevia and whisk until medium to stiff peaks. set aside or put in refrigerator.
  19. 2. whisk together 1 egg, cinnamon to liking, milk to liking, and a small addition of vanilla until well combined. grab bread slice and cover both sides in egg mixture until slightly soaked. (make sure u have a heated pan with butter/ oil ready for this step.) add bread to pan and flip as needed.
  20. 3. while bread is cooking add in berries, splash of lemon juice, and small splash of water (decide later if you want more) into a pot. put on medium heat and bring to slight broil, cooking until desired thickness/consistency.
  21. 4. by this point, your berries and French toast should be finished around the same time, if not both the French toast or berries should stay warm while the other finishes cooking, it does not take much time. take your toast off pan and cut / plate to your liking. then top with mascarpone and spoon the berry compote over, done.!!
