banana overnight oats
Shared by @belvetcake · Makes 1 serving
Ingredients
- 1 1 serving banana
- 60 grams Oats
- 0.5 cups Milk
- 20 grams Peanut butter, creamy
- 50 grams Greek yogurt, plain, lowfat
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp Cinnamon
Instructions
- 1. Process the oats; this is optional but will help improve the texture of the final product.
- 2. In a bowl, mash half of the banana with a fork. This will sweeten it, but depending on how ripe the fruit is, you may need to add another sweetener, so taste as you go.
- 3. Add the oats to the rest of the liquid ingredients and mix well.
- 4. Slice the remaining banana, add it to the jar, burying the first layer of slices halfway and the rest on top as a topping.
- 5. Let it rest covered in the frige for a few hours or preferably overnight. Before eating, mix well.
